Birth
Annie Elizabeth Stoppard was born on 27th August 1863 at Oxford Street, Chorlton-upon-Medlock, to David Stoppard and Martha Handforth (Provision Dealers). She was Christened on the 23rd September 1863 at St. Saviours, Manchester, Lancashire.
In 1871 her family was living at 134 Wilmslow Road, Withington, Lancashire.
Come 1881, the family had moved to Stockport Road, Cheadle, Cheshire, which was her mother's original hometown. Her father was a Shopkeeper/Grocer and Annie and her brother probably worked for their father (both being Grocer's Assistants).
Marriage
On the 14th September 1887 she married William Joseph Churm.
