The artist George Engleheart kept a house in Bedfont near Hounslow in London.
How do we know this?
- George Engleheart was registered to vote in Bedfont in 1802 (sadly the address is just given as Bedfont)

- His life in Bedfont is described in the book "George Engleheart, 1750-1829, Miniature Painter to George III", published in 1902. While this book isn't always entirely accurate, given that the house photographed was owned by the great-grand-nephew of George Engleheart at the time (probably the same one as the co-author) then hopefully this is correct.
- Henry Engleheart was registered to vote there in 1838, 1847, 1852-53, 1856-58, 1861-62,1867, 1870-3, 1875, 1876, 1879, 1881, 1882
- Henry Engleheart was registered to vote in Kew in 1832 & 1834-39, 1841, 1845-47, 1849 but his residence was given as Bedfont.
- John Gardner Dillman Engleheart was registered to vote at Bedfont Lodge, Bedfont in 1888, and on High-Road, Bedfont in 1889
