1861 - Soakham Cottages, Wye, Kent - Jane Vane
Here on the night of 7 April 1861 the Vane family are living near to the Railway station, in Soakham cottages, in Wye, Kent. Note that it is hard to make out the word Soakham in this census (it is more like Soakum), but in the 1871 census it is very clear.
I have doubts about Sarah's age. It clearly says 27, this would put her birth year as 1834, but later censuses put her closer to 1840.
