Janet Lochhead married John Hunter on the 23rd May 1772 in Torryburn.

In 1780 they had a son, also called John Hunter who married Helen Cochrane.

She died on September 16th 1798 according to the Torryburn parish register (Janet Lochead, Mrs Hunter).
