Each of the numbered addresses at Plough Alley has many families in them, so were probably some kind of apartment buildings.

For some reason their first daughter Mary Gordon (who would be aged 2) isn't at the house.

A few doors down at 9 Plough alley is another Gordon family, this time Robert Gordon (28) from Newfoundland and his wife Mary, their children Henry (6) and James (4) and a lodger John Gordon (18) all from Jersy.

1861 - 11 Plough Alley, Wapping - Joseph Gordon

On the night of 7 April 1861. here are Joseph Gordon and his wife Mary. They were hard to find (I've been looking for years) as their name has been spelled wrongly as Gording or Gooding.
